I read pages 150- to the end in the book Ark Angel, by Anthony Horowitz. Alex was captured and taken to a ware house were he was put in a room where he was tied to a chair with no exit. Alex began to see smoke rise to the ceiling very slowly threw the crack below the door. It had started at the bottom of the building and Alex was seven stories up. Alex got himself out of the rope and got on top of the chair to open one of the ceiling tiles. He climbed around the door and got to the top of the roof. In the end Alex survived and was invited to Nikolei Drevin’s island for saving Paul Drevin’s life. Alex goes thinking that Nikolei is safe and doesn’t want to harm Alex. Then Nikolei found out that Alex worked for MI6 and that he was spying on him. Nikolei ordered his security gaurds to find him and kill him. So the next morning they took Alex scuba diving and when Alex went down to investigate a ship. Alex went inside the ship and one of the guards was behind him, the gaurd then closed a hatch leaving Alex trapped inside the ship. Alex then escapes when one of his fellow MI6 agents comes to save him. They learn about Ark Angel and find out that it will destroy Washington D.C. First they go and kill Nikolei. Then their only choice of destroying the space ship Ark Angel is to send Alex up into to space to detonate the bomb that is on Ark Angel. Alex is sent to to where he sets off the bomb and gets out safely.

In the end this book was my second favorite book in the Alex Rider Series. It had tons of action and always kept you thinking on what happens next. I suggest reading the first six books to really understand this one. It has a very good story  line and really makes sense after awhile. It always keep you reading the book because it gives you s very detailed image in your mind of what’s happening. Overall this book was very good and I can’t wait to read the next one.
