Nazi Medical Experimentation 

 

 

-Nazis tested perfectly healthy human bodies to see how the mind and body reacted to extreme cold,heat and pressure.

-The Doctors defied their moral responsibility and all the rules of their noble profession.

 

Sterilization

 

 -Surgery, X-ray and various medicines and tried to find out the most effective way to sterilize people.

 -They injected people with various drugs, especially women that lead to infections, inflammations and death.

 -Some drugs on girls lead them to cervical cancer

 Generic Experimentation on Twins

 -Experiments on numerous twins out of which only few survived the harsh treatment.

 -One of the terrible experiments was the one carried out on these two Hungarian twins who were treated in a way to describe which words like “barbaric” and “atrocious” would not be enough.

 -Tubes were put into the twins bodies that made them cough severely

 Infectious Disease Experiments

 -Diseases such as Typhus and Malaria were injected into healthy humans to discover cures

 –Freezing experiments which determined the temperature till which the body can survive and involved the slaughter of many Jews, similarly there were experiments like Incendiary Bomb experiments which tested the survival capacity of the body.

 Mengele’s Children: The Twins of Auschwitz 

 -Josef Mengele entered Auschwitz to reseach twins.

 -He choose this location because there were large numbers of twins in the area.

 -He started with trying to change the hair color of twins and eye color to blue.

 Processing 

-Kids were showered and there their height and weight was recorded.

 -Thousands of twins were pulled from trains and were tattooed.                                               

Life for the Twins

 -At 6 kids wake up and are roll is taken

 -They would eat breakfast than be inspected. 

 -Mengele was known for carrying candy around and would let them play outside
