This is the third book of the Harry Potter series. This series is about a boy 11-year-old boy named Harry who lives with his horrible Aunt and Uncle and spoiled cousin because his parents died in a car crash. The truth is that Harry is a wizard and his parents were actually murdered by the most powerful dark wizard named Voldemort. Voldemort tries to kill Harry in the first 2 books but never succeeds. In this section of the book, Harry is home from Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry when Aunt Marge who is his Uncle’s sister visits but she knows nothing about wizardry. Harry loses his temper with Aunt Marge and accidently causes Aunt Marge to magically inflate. He takes the Knight Bus to The Leaky Cauldron after he kicked out of the house and he meets the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge. Harry is supposed to be punished because he is not allowed to use magic outside of Hogwarts but he isn’t because the Ministry of Magic is concerned about Harry’s safety after a murderer Sirius Black escapes from the wizarding prison, Azkaban. Sirius Black was one of the Potter’s family friends and was Harry’s godfather, but he betrayed them by becoming one of Voldemort follower. He was accused of murdering another good friend Peter Pettigrew and 12 bystanders.

I think the Harry Potter series are really good books. Sometimes, the books can be confusing though. There are a bunch of wizardry terms and spells that makes the book so confusing. Other than that, the books are good. There are details and it’s a book that you just want to keep on reading and you can’t stop and you are finished with it. I can understand how Harry loses his temper with Aunt Marge but I can’t relate to how Aunt Marge can magically inflate. Sometimes, people are just being so annoying or really mean and they just keep on bugging you that you get so mad at the person and you just let all of your steam out. Sometimes I get in trouble and other times I don’t because I have good reasons kind of like Harry didn’t get in trouble. Inflating a muggle (That’s what wizards’ call non-wizards) on accident seemed minor compared to a murderer escaping jail and trying to find Harry. I can’t relate to how Harry is in danger after Sirius Black escapes because nothing like that has ever happened to me before. But if anything of that kind of nature ever happened to me, I would be terrified. I would be 100 times more terrified if I was in Harry’s place because Sirius wasn’t a regular human. He has a wand so even if you stay in your house everyday with locked doors, Sirius could still unlock your doors with his wand.
