(SPOILER ALERT) Reading letter 7 Q2

My Sister’s Keeper
Jodi Piccoult
p.351-end
By: Abby Flanders

This is still my favorite book but i really didn’t like the way that the author ended it. It happened too quickly and just didn’t feel right for the story. The way she wrote it was good but it was almost backwards than what it should have been. That isn’t always a bad thing but it made the story really sad. In the end Anna got what she wanted, but never got to have it put to use. I guess it’s good because the transplant worked and the cancer went away. But it still left a scar. Anna wont be there to see Kate’s kids and go to her graduation and be the maid of honor at her wedding. But it was good too. Kate will always have Anna with her. She will be on her heart, mind, and literally inside her. Anna will be part of Kate’s life forever and helped her be able to survive.
In this part, even though it was very unlikely, Anna was medically emancipated from her parents. The doctors were going to need Anna’s signature and permission to use her medically for Kate’s sake. We find out that Kate had asked Anna to kill her and Anna said that this was the only thing she would do. On the way to the hospital to tell Kate, Anna and her lawyer are in a horrible car accident and Anna is left brain dead. Anna’s kidney goes to Kate and Anna is taken off of life support. Kate was always the one that everyone thought was going to get away but it was actually Anna. Thats why I said this story was kind of twisted around. Life may not only be unexpected, but it might come out the totally opposite way then planned.
