In this book, Alex must face off once again against the criminal organization known as Scorpia. Major Yu, a member of Scorpia, has stolen a bomb that is very powerful, but not a nuke. He plans to put in the earth’s crust in the ocean, and cause a tsunami that will destroy an island. Alex must ally with a man who was supposedly friends with his father to beat Scorpia.

This book, along with all the other books in the Alex Rider books, is very entertaining and action-packed. The books are full of twists and turns that will keep you reading them. This book had the biggest turn of events that I have seen yet. You must read the book to find out what that is. I thought that I knew what was going to happen when I actually had no idea. I wonder how the next book will unfold, and if he ever gets to meet the rest of his training squad from the first book, as many of the people in that squad have reappeared throughout the books.
