Yellow
She was as bright as
The sun shining
on the water
He was a lemon
sour but pretty
His smile is golden
made everyone feel better and
shine like the sun
The hay looked almost as if
it was shining bright in the day
The fireflies looked like stars
in the darkness
of the night
The golden sand was covering
the pencil but
blended in with the color
The lightning
struck the ground
that looked like
a yellow flash
This poem was so good. I loved you similes, and the vocabulary that you used- Eva

This poem is great but I think that you could make some stanza break somewhere in here. Mabey each one of the comparisons could be its own stanza.
