Robie was starting to freak out about the engine not working. Everyone else was clam about the engine not working. Everyone was ready to ditch the plane while it was somewhat in control. One of Robie’s friends helped Robie and told her to hold her breath and to kick for the surface and then he pushed her off of the plane, but he put a life vest on her.
Why was everyone calm about the plane losing the engine? Why didn’t they say to all of the passengers and staff that the plane engine went down and to stay calm or something? Was the crash on purpose? How is Robie supposed to survive in the ocean until her friend got down there with her if there were sharks because they don’t know what is at the ocean beneath them. I feltlike those parts were unclear and why didn’t the author put in more detail. Will Robie blown away by the storm?
Hey Hett,
It sounds like a failing of the book to not give you enough details in the accident part. Maybe though, the author is trying to build suspense by leaving that info out???
