Dear Mrs. Gibson

Fable

Adrienne Young

Books pages 1-182

Summary:

Fables father left her at an island full of thieves and she learns how to survive buy using her skills that her mother taught her. She sells gems for money and food. When she gets an option to leave a guy her age named West gives her a ride at a price.

Response:

This book so far is really good I love how she learned how to provide for herself and not trust anyone to get what she wants or needs. Fable has learned the hard way for many things, but it pays off. Her skills help her find gems and tell how much they are worth and what they are called. Also, Fable can tell the fakes from the reals. The trip is hard the ship is hot, and she has to work if she wants to eat and sleep. Fable teaches herself how to mend nets to catch fish and she sew the sails that are torn. I really recommend this book to people who like to read about adventure.

Sincerely,

Anna

  1. Hey Anna,
This book reminds me of Island of the Blue Dolphins in how she is so self-sufficient and learns or knows things that help her survive! did you read it?
