The broken Family

She was left by her mother at age 13.

She couldnt say goodbye nor spend one more minute with her to tell her she loves her.

All she had was her brother and father. It was a broken family.

No one really understood, they knew the girl who was 13

had step siblings, half siblings, friends and everyone who they needed was there.

But thats not what the girl wanted…. she wanted her old family

that was always at home watching Dog the Bounty Hunter at home in bed.

Laughing when someone made a joke or all huddling together when one was upset.

But she never realized that her mom was the one who brought everyone together.

She knew her brother and dad were trying to keep the family together, but it wasnt the same.

No one laughed the same. No one smiled the same. No one was the same.

They were the broken family.
