i’ve been reading dead line by Chris Cruthcher i must say it has been a very eye opening experience for me besides all the cussing and inappropriate jokes it is quite a sad book to read. The main character ben wolf an 18 year old track and cross country star finds out all his good grades and college dreams aren’t even necessary because he has a disease that is life threatening. He does not bother telling his family that he has it and since he is 18 he isn’t forced to by law and his doctor can’t tell his family since that is up to ben and would be considered illegal and so ben starts doing things he usually wouldn’t do such as football messing with teachers and so fourth.
This book is very good and from the beginning it has you hooked and ready to finish and ready to read what’s next. the author is very down to earth and under stands the minds of teenage boys and what they need to know.
