I read The Fall of Troy. it is part of the book Mythology by Edith Hamilton.

This story was about the war of Troy. achilles the greatest fighter of that time was fighting agianst troy. in battle achilles was pushing into troy. Achilles was imortal accept for his achilles tenden on the back of his foot. when he was pushing into Troy a soldier from troy shot an arrow into achilles heel causing him to die. Achilles death was a problem. they no longer had the greatest fighter. they where not about to give up though. after the death of achilles they acted like they where sailing back to their homeland. they left a Large wooden horse filled with hidden soldiers that would burn troy when everyone was asleep. the soldiers wheeled the horse into the city of troy and began the celebrations. that night the soldiers made their way out of the wooden horse. they armed themselfs with swords and torches. that night they torched troy to the ground. I liked this story becuase it was filled with slaughter and it was really intresting. i would reccommend seeing the movie “Troy” first.
