In this last section of my book, Tally and Zane are reunited only to find that Zane’s headaches aren’t just headaches. Zane is fighting for his life when Tally and David find a tracker in Zane’s tooth, implanted by the Specials without telling him. Specials are on their way, but Tally and David can’t take him with them. Tally stays with Zane and the Specials arrive.
I can relate to Tally with Disney princesses because she has two “princes” (David and Zane) who really like her. David’s mom, a doctor, tells Tally that Zane is in big trouble. There were two pills given to cure Tally, but she gave one to Zane, thinking they were the same. However, one pill, the one that Zane took, gives you brain nanos that will eat away at the lesions, and destroy your brain if not stopped. Tally’s pill kills the nanos, but does nothing to the lesions. Tally finds that she cured herself without the cure! Everyone is worried about Zane because he might not make it. I would be very worried, and feel bad if I were Tally and took the counter-pill. While examining Zane, they find the tracker hidden in his tooth. Specials are on the way and Tally stays with Zane until they come. Dr. Cable, a Special, is very fascinated with how Tally escaped. She finds that the Specials had already stopped the nanos and just wanted to see how far she would go away from the city. Then, Tally sees Shay, who is now a special. Shay wants her to become a Special as punishment for not taking her with. “Face it Tally-wa your Special.” Shay says as she drugged her to become Special.
