Warriors don’t cry- carson

Warriors don’t cry

  1. This did change what I thought from eyes on the prize. In the movie I could almost see how brutal the white people could be towards the blacks. as to in the movie they were still mean but I didn’t think that mean.  Because in the story if the white people would of caught up with them they would of killed them.

  1. Carson,

I agree. I think that the reading captured the fear and hatred on a much more personal level than the documentary did. Melba’s memoir is a personal account of the events that took place during the time of the civil rights movement and the struggle to desegregate our country.
