Flawless, a wonderful sequel to Pretty Little Liars, is a story about four girls who are trying to forget about their best friend, Ali’s, death. She was the leader of the group, and knew all of their secrets. Ali is dead, and the girls should have no worries about their secrets getting out, right? Wrong. “A” surely won’t let them get away with that. In this thrilling book Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna are struggling with their lives, but it gets worse as the messages from mysterious “A” threaten to reveal their secrets.

Each of the girl’s problems are getting worse. Aria and her younger brother catch their father cheating again. When “A” tells their mom about it, Aria is furious. Spencer is still having a relationship with her sister, Melissa’s, ex-boyfriend, Wren. But is stunned and angered when she finds out that Wren is still with Melissa while dating Spencer. Emily is still trying to figure out who she likes, but when she goes to a dance with Toby, the neighborhoods dangerous boy, she starts to believe he killed Ali. When she confronted him that she knew his secret, Toby killed himself. Afterwards, the girls then find out that the secret Toby thought Emily was thinking of wasn’t that he killed Ali, but it was something he was very ashamed of. Finally, Hanna is dumped by her boyfriend and her dad when his stepdaughter, Kate, ruins her and her father’s relationship. I have really enjoyed these books, and I can’t wait to read more! I recommend this series to most girls.
