Leviathan was son of a normal mom and the son of a king.  One night his dad when on a trip and he was at the castle by himself and his servants.  His servants came by one night to check up on him and he freaked out and thought that they were assassins.  But they were his servants; they came to take him to his war machine training.  The servants came so late at night because his mom doesn’t think he is old enough to pilot one of them. 

            Deryn is the smart one. As they were traveling out of London they came across tigersques.  She started to wonder if crossbreeding and science was the backbone of the British Empire. Later on their trip they met 2 guards that were on a full medal carriage.  The men took them to the top of the hill and showed them the first hydrogen breathing animal and gave them a chance to ride it.
