Girl in a Black Raincoat

In New Hampshire on South Bennettsville road, a pale girl stands under the sunny sky in a black raincoat. She is facing a large house that looks abandoned and is overgrown with weeds. As the cars, people, and children on bikes roll by, she doesn’t even acknowledge them. She just stands in front of the house wondering why she is all alone. As she is looking at the house, her mind flashes back to the car crash her and her family were in.

About 5 years ago, the girl, her parents, and her sister were driving to New York to go to lunch, and do some shopping in Time Square when a large bus t-boned their minivan, as they ran a traffic light thinking that they could make it through in time. The glass bashed into the car, and hit the family, and the sister was unconscious from being impounded by the large vehicle. Her parents had passed away right at that moment, but her and her sister were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. As they got there, the girl’s sister was immediately moved to the emergency surgery room to try and save her from they violent injuries.

When the girl in the Black raincoat woke up, the doctors told her that all her family had died from the crash other than her. When she was in good condition to leave the hospital, she was put into an orphanage. She hated the life that she had while she was living in the place without the love of  her family, so she made a plan to escape out the door.

About 3 weeks into living in the orphanage, the girl ran out the door when nobody was looking. She went directly to her once happy, loving, and beautiful home. You can now find her standing in front of the house, not able to move, paralized in the fear without her family.
