Escaping Peril summary

 

In Escaping Peril, Peril (a SkyWing with Flamescales) is trying to kill queen scarlet because she is a threat to her friends. When she sets off to find her, she is accompanied by Turtle, a shy SeaWing who is secretly and animus (wizard dragon) because he does not want to be used as a weapon by his mother, Queen Coral. I loved the part when Soar (peril’s dad) turned back into his original form, Chameleon (technically Peril’s dad because soar was his sky wing transformation.), a lot of fans say Peril is half RainWing but I say no because when he changes into soar, everything about him (except his mind) is changed including his genetic material. So Chameleon makes a peril a bracelet that would take away her Flamescales so she can touch other dragons without burning them into a charred corpse. She later finds out about Cliff, queen Rubies son, and Queen scarlet uses him to persuade her daughter ruby. So queen scarlet and ruby have a fight to the death for the crown and when queen scarlet tears off a necklace off of ruby’s neck which then Ruby turns into Tamarin, one of Queen Scarlet’s daughters, now Tamarian is as big as queen scarlet and kills Scarlet, then all the SkyWings are happy because Queen Scarlet treated them poorly. Peril then finds out that the bracelet her dad gave her also made her obedient to queen scarlet because her dada was working with queen scarlet. so, then Peril and her friends then fight Chameleon while his in his big, strong, and tough NightWing form and beat him. they then find out he has been using bits of Darkstalker’s scroll to make forms for himself. Then when Moon finds out that Darkstalker is not as charming or nice as he is because in Darkstalkers animus scroll was a spell to make his father artic disembowel himself, so Peril burns the scroll with her Flamescales and that suddenly releases Darkstalke
