Reading Letter-Final Draft

Reading Letter Draft

The book, Gone, is about a 14 year old guy named Sam, who’s town gets trapped in a dome and anybody over fifteen disappears. While the kids of Perdido Beach try to come up with a to get out, certain people begin to develop specials powers. Some of these powers are able to tell who has more power, and put them on a list with how many cell phone bars their powers are. Sam isn’t the only 4 bar in the town. Sam must fight his twin brother to enable the security of the rest of the kids in the town. Not only must Sam fight his twin brother, but also he must do it before he disappears. Can Sam do it, or will he be to late?

I liked this book because it had a good story line. It was set up correctly and was filled with some good details. It had a lot of feeling and you could listen to what it was like in the main charactors mind and his feeling towards others. It was also loved how the author set up the characters attitude and judgments. Such as Edilio, a hard working mexican, like you hear about in real life. Or Astrid, a smart, pretty, popular girl at school. And Sam, the typical leader and hero. The story and its set up was perfect, and it told separte stories that at some point came together. This book was perfect, long enough, and is an easy read.I would recomend this book for ages 11-15.

  1. This sounds like a pretty good book. But the name Sam gets a little repetitious, though. And you also need to put your name. Otherwise, good reading letter.

  2. Whoever wrote this did not put there name, but whoever it was they did a decent job, I liked the summary, Next time you need to write why you picked the book or why you like it or why you didn’t like it, you need to add more details, but overall decent job
