This is the sequel to Chasing Vermeer. I have read it before but I wanted to read it again because I remembered it being one of my favorite mystery books and I was in the mood for a mystery. This book is about how the famous Robbie house is going to be demolished. Calder and Petra are the main characters and they are also the “detectives” if you will. Their class takes a field trip to the house and Calder and Petra discover things about the house that they didn’t know before. Calder’s best friend Tommy recently moved back from moving away and Tommy was jealous of Calder and Petra’s discoveries but he soon learned to tolerate Petra and the three became known as the Wright 3. They came up with a ton of clues and evidence on ways to save the house from being demolished and they even break in towards the end of the book. Tommy even finds a fish talisman that is worth a lot of money.

After almost being killed against a band of robbers, the Wright 3 save the Robbie house. This book was really, really good. It is definitely one of my favorites for an easy read. Anyone who enjoys reading mystery books with suspense in them should read this.
