Student Writing #2- Steven

“NO MOMMY!” screamed David. “NO NO NO!” he kept on yelling. “Come on sweety. There’s no need to be scared. Dr. Henry will take care of your teeth.” said his mom. David still wasn’t convinced. You see, this was his first time going to this dentist. He had just turned five two days ago. It was snowing outside, so David and some of his buddies decided to have a snowball fight. David was running from one of his friends, when he slipped and chipped his tooth. David’s old dentist had retired, so he had to go to a new one. And he was furious. David was kicking and screaming, trying to do everything he could to stop from going. But his mom was just to powerful. Pretty soon, his was in Dr. Henry’s office. Once David saw all the sharp tools in the office, he started screaming some more. David was terrified. Dr. Henry and his mom were desperatly trying to calm him down, but they had no luck. Finally Dr. Henry said something that caught David’s attention. “David, if you will be a good boy and stay still and open wide, I’ll give you a lollipop!” Then David watched as he saw Dr. Henry pull out the biggest lollipop he had ever saw. It wasn’t like those little ones little ones that you get at Shonees. No, this one was a real one. David wanted it so bad, that he actually did what Dr. Henry said. Dr. Henry actually turned out to be very nice. David had a very delicious time.
