Mockingjay is an extremely interesting book that starts with the main character Katniss Everdeen. She has been badly hurt and stunned and is now in district 13’s hospital. Once she awoke she panicked. Knowing that her district, district 12, had been burned to the ground she was desperate to see that it was bad dream.  She then is allowed to go to district 12 and walks through what remains of her hometown, and its residents. Sadly because the town was mining district it lit up like fire to coal, which it was.  Once she has finally had enough she goes back to district 13. She has a schedule to keep as does everyone else but katniss ignores this and chooses to hide. For right now that is fine because she has been said to have a temporary mental issue. Later she sees her friend Gale but her finance Peeta has been kidnapped by the Capitol. An evil district that has everything and is ruled by an evil prisdent, president Snow. She then  also meets her friend Finnik O’Dair a famous victor from district four. She then is being questioned and prepared to become the symbol of the rebel resistance. The Mockingjay
