1. It makes me realize even better how violent the people were and how much better it is today. I also saw how brave they all were, like how Melba stayed with her mom no matter what.
2. The passage answered all the questions I had.
3. I think that there is no reason for that behavior and that will never ever be justifiable.
4. I think I would of done the same thing in this passage but I don’t know if I would ever go back to that school.
5. I think they wouldn’t of been as violent and would of backed off sooner.

It certainly would take much more courage then I think I have in any bone in my body to go back to school after experiencing something like Melba and the other 9 children did. But they somehow found it in themselves to keep going.
