The Famers Land

 

Farmer charlie held some land

But he was a greedy man 

He did not give anything up

Especially not his younger mutt

 

One day out on the farm 

The neighbor came on over  

Showing off his smile of charm and sparkling teeth 

But charlie just chose not to speak

 

The neighbor asked for some land

And charlie was offended

He yelled so loud, it was grand

And the neighbor ran away, contended

 

As the days and night grew longer

The neighbor did not give up

He came back and asked the farmer

For a cow that could stand up

 

Again and again he yelled

And left the neighbor running

But then the neighbor fled

and farmer charlie was judging

 

They never spoke again

They only spoke of eachother 

They never became good friends

Until one of them was over
