Ballad

 

Fred a lonely giant, lived deep in the forest

It spread across like a sea of green in the land of the west

The only living creatures, that ever saw him,

Were his animal friends that he let them come into his cave.

 

He was kind to every animal and let them in the shade

Away from all the danger that was soon to fade away.

Gave them food and had a chat and they would be on their way

But one day he had an unsuspected guest that came to spend the day

 

Fred was greeted by a human that’s name was Jake

He gave him some carrot cookies that he would soon to bake

Fred asked many questions, until he was barely awake

The cookies were finished, and they were thin as a rake

 

After they were done, Fred learned quite a lot

His human friend Jake, was a mighty explorer

Who traveled across sea and land keeping intel of whatever he got

He promised to come back, to this exact spot.
